Why We Do This Work


The Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival started as a small local weekend of workshops and has grown into an exciting event that draws people from all of the world and includes shopping, workshops, shows, festival dancing, and after-parties. We started as a one-person operation and have grown into a group of people working together to create something we love and care about. Because of all the growth this event has experienced, we've also found that it is time that we put our goals down in writing. We want the world to understand why we do this work, why it matters, and what we hope to achieve. Our team is currently working on this project and we plan on sharing our official Mission Statement, Vision Statement, & Core Values with you soon. However, as a teaser, let me offer the following:

The Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival is an event that serves to promote & celebrate the full spectrum of belly dancing-from Oriental to Tribal, from Folkloric to Fusion. We value the diversity of the art as well as the diversity of artists. We also strive to produce an event with exceptional quality, integrity, professionalism, & customer service.
