We are excited to feature Etoile & the Scimitar Dance Company from Riverside, CA. Etoile is a member and co-director of the company under the direction of Aziza Sa'id. The talents of Scimitar Dance Company encompasses various styles from the Middle Eastern regions to American fusion styles, traditional to the edgy, Cabaret to Tribal, and everything in between. They will be performing at our August Las Vegas Belly Dance Community Hafla.

Join us for an evening of dancing, music, community, potluck food, shopping, and fun. Bring your sultry spirit, pillows to sit on, a plate of food or a beverage to share, money to shop with, and a willingness to get to know your fellow community members.

For the most part, this is a pretty casual event and a great way to meet others in this community. If you feel inspired to perform for us, bring your music and contact Samira when you arrive. If you want to just join in the open dances, wear a hip scarf and jump up to enjoy the fun. Sometimes we have vendors, and sometimes we don't. Every Hafla is different and brings new faces to our community. We hope to see you there.
